How far would you go to save the ones you love? In the case of Jennifer Lawrence's character in spy thriller Red Sparrow, it's very far indeed.
The Oscar winner re-teams with her Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence for this intriguing and violent story of Soviet espionage. Think Salt crossed with Atomic Blonde and you'll be in the right ballpark.
Lawrence plays ballerina Dominika Egorova who is reluctantly compelled to join the Red Sparrow spy programme in order to secure her ill mother's healthcare. Once enlisted she's compelled to use her body as a weapon, but her mission to expose a government mole is complicated when she falls for mysterious CIA agent Nathaniel Nash (Joel Edgerton).
