Annabelle Comes Home

What's the story? Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artefacts room in their home, placing her 'safely' behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest's holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens' ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.

What's the story? 

When a mild-mannered Uber driver named Stu (Kumail Nanjiani) picks up a passenger (Dave Bautista) who turns out to be a cop hot on the trail of a brutal killer, he's thrust into a harrowing ordeal where he desperately tries to hold onto his wits, his life and his five-star rating. Directed by Michael Dowse, this action-comedy from 20th Century Fox also stars Iko Uwais, Natalie Morales, Betty Gilpin, Jimmy Tatro, Mira Sorvino and Karen Gillan.

The Dead Don't Die

What's the story? In the sleepy small town of Centerville, something is not quite right. The moon hangs large and low in the sky, the hours of daylight are becoming unpredictable and animals are beginning to exhibit unusual behaviors. No one quite knows why. News reports are scary and scientists are concerned. But no one foresees the strangest and most dangerous repercussion that will soon start plaguing Centerville: THE DEAD DON'T DIE - they rise from their graves and savagely attack and feast on the living - and the citizens of the town must battle for their survival.

Pavarotti + live Q&A (Saturday 13th July, 7pm)

What's the story? Exclusive preview with a satellite Q&A July 13th featuring an introduction from director Ron Howard, special guests and a Three Tenors aria remastered for the first time on the big screen. From the team behind the worldwide success The Beatles: Eight Days a Week comes two time Academy Award winning director Ron Howard's documentary celebrating the life of the beloved opera star Luciano Pavarotti, who sold over 100 million records in his lifetime. The 1990 World Cup in Italy was the moment opera left the elite and hit the masses. Opera star Pavarotti joined fellow tenors Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras onstage in Rome watched by 1.4 billion worldwide. Their powerful rendition of 'Nessun Dorma' lives on as one of the most popular and famous pieces of music the world has ever heard, and Pavarotti realised his long held dream of bringing opera into the mainstream. Ron Howard takes an intimate approach in telling Pavarotti's story, going beyond the iconic public figure to reveal the man himself. The Q and A will be hosted by Classic FM presenter John Brunning and a panel of Nicoletta Mantovani, Katherine Jenkins, Bryn Terfel and the film's producer Nigel Sinclair.

Glyndebourne 2019: The Barber of Seville (Sunday 14th July, 5.30pm)

What's the story? Recorded live in 2016. Mischief and mayhem run riot in Rossini's most popular comedy. Figaro, the renowned Barber of Seville, has a cunning that knows no bounds. His playful energy is brought to life in director Annabel Arden's sparkling and springing production. This is also another chance to catch Danielle de Niese who plays the determined Rosina.
