How do you kill somebody on a stranded, snowbound train and attempt to get away with it?
That's the delicious premise fuelling Agatha Christie's classic mystery story Murder on the Orient Express, one that's already been adapted to acclaimed effect for both the big and small screen.
Now British filmmaking institution Kenneth Branagh performs double-duty in his new take on the chilling riddle. Not only is he directing, he also stars as famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, sporting some seriously impressive whiskers that make him look more like a circus strongman.
And that's just the start. The line-up of suspects is possibly the greatest ensemble cast we've seen in years, comprising Judi Dench, Daisy Ridley, Josh Gad, Michelle Pfeiffer, Olivia Colman, Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Derek Jacobi and more. And making up the numbers as the ill-fated murder victim is none other than Johnny Depp.
Check out the trailer below for your first look at the movie – and remember, everyone is a suspect.
Murder on the Orient Express is released on 3rd November.
