It's been 16 years since Renee Zellweger triumphantly clinched an Oscar for Cold Mountain. But could the star of Bridget Jones and Jerry Maguire do the same again with Judy?
A biopic of legendary Wizard of Oz actor and singer Judy Garland, the movie allows Zellweger to strut her stuff as one of the icons of Hollywood. And we're delighted to announce the film as your Cineworld Unlimited screening on 1st October.
Remarkably, Zellweger performs her own singing as Garland, including her signature number 'Over the Rainbow,' which calls to mind her previous musical triumph with 2002's Chicago.
Judy holds an impressive 85% on Rotten Tomatoes, and is summarised as follows: "Led by a deeply committed performance from Renée Zellweger, Judy captures the waning days of a beloved performer with clear-eyed compassion."
