IT CHAPTER TWO featurette brings us home to Derry

screen-poster

The past isn't exactly dead and buried in forthcoming Stephen King horror IT CHAPTER TWO.

We pick up 27 years after the events of the first IT movie (currently the highest-grossing horror of all time), as the adult Losers Club members discover they have unfinished business with the monstrous entity known as Pennywise. This means a trip down nightmare lane as they return to Derry, Maine to defeat the clown once and for all, confronting their inner demons in the process.

The pervasive influence of the past, combined with a cold, clammy sense of guilt and repressed anxiety, has long been a theme through King's novels. And it comes bursting to the surface in this eagerly awaited chiller, as Bill Skarsgard's Pennywise re-emerges, even more malicious than before and actively seeking revenge against the Losers.

James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain and Bill Hader are among the A-listers bringing gravitas to the role of the older Losers, working with returning director Andy Muschietti. Get ready for the movie by checking out the following behind the scenes video, in which the cast and crew invite us back to Derry in anticipation of the final, horrifying showdown.

IT CHAPTER TWO is released on 6th September so tweet us @Cineworld if you can't wait to see it.
