How soon can Unlimited Card holders use their cards at these newly acquired cinemas?

We’re delighted to confirm that these cinemas are now open and that Unlimited Cards are being accepted.

I’ve made an advanced booking and bought a ticket from Empire for a screening on or after 12th August. Will you honour my booking?
Yes, you’ll need to bring your booking reference number to the cinema and we will give you a replacement ticket. Please note that there may be some changes to the seat allocated to you.

Which of Empire’s special offers/promotions will you continue?
Empire JNRS will be replaced with our ‘Movies For Juniors’ programme.

We will continue to provide the “Saver Day Tuesday” at the new cinemas. When purchasing online, the Saverday price will show for all relevant ticket types (Adult, Child, Student, Senior). You can find our ticket prices on the “Prices & Summary tab”

Will you accept Empire vouchers at the new cinemas?
For the most part, yes; we’ll accept these for the time being to provide a smooth transition period.

Will you accept Empire Gift cards at the new cinemas?
Unfortunately we’re not able to accept Empire Gift cards as we don’t have the ability to authenticate them. Please contact Empire directly if you would like a refund.

Will you continue with the Event Cinema screenings which Empire had planned?
Yes, the existing programme of Event Cinema screenings will be going ahead.  

Will you accept Empire VIP cards at the new cinemas?
Unfortunately we are not able to accept Empire VIP cards.

What about My Empire customers?
We are inviting My Empire customers to become members of My Cineworld through which customers can get 10% off their online bookings, sign up for newsletters, exclusive competitions and offers relevant to them as well as providing faster ticket bookings. 

Will Meerkat Movies be available at the new cinemas?
Yes, we’re pleased to confirm that this promotion will be available in cinema for Tuesday and Wednesday performances. Please note that we can only accept Meerkat codes online for Wednesday performances.

What will tickets at these new cinemas cost?
At Cineworld, we’re committed to offering customers a great cinema experience and good value for money. To provide a smooth transition, we are aiming to keep the prices as consistent as possible with what they were under Empire. 

Can I still use previously purchased Master Image 3D glasses?
Yes you can, or alternatively you can purchase these during the online booking process or at the cinema.

Where can I find out more about Superscreen?
Cineworld refers to Impact performances as Superscreen. You can find out more by clicking here.

I’ve booked online, how can I find out which screen or studio my performance will be playing in?

This information is available on your booking confirmation email, or in the booking summary available throughout the booking process.

Will E-ticketing be available in the cinemas?
E-ticketing will not be working in the cinemas initially. Please make sure to collect your tickets at the box office or at the ATM. To do so you will need either your ticket booking reference or payment card used to purchase the tickets.
