Discover how the makers of First Man brought the moon landings to the big screen

Inspiring drama First Man is the first-ever feature length movie about the moon landings, and it arrives in Cineworld this Friday.

In 1969, Neil Armstrong made history by becoming the first man to walk on the lunar surface. The fraught build-up to his and Buzz Aldrin's life-changing Apollo 11 mission is the subject of Damien Chazelle's new movie, in which Ryan Gosling stars as Armstrong.

It's a reunion between the director and star of the multi-Oscar-winning musical La La Land, and promises to explore this momentous occasion in unprecedented detail. Co-starring The Crown's Claire Foy as Armstrong's wife Janet, the movie is already generating talk of Oscars.

Go behind the scenes of First Man in the following video, and discover how Chazelle and his cast and crew are making movie history.
