Were you one of many terrified by the stage production of Ghost Stories? Ever since its debut in 2010 Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman's Olivier-nominated smash has spooked audiences in the UK, Australia and Russia – and now the hit show has been adapted for the big screen.
Nyman reprises his stage role as paranormal skeptic Professor Goodman who is shaken to the core by the arrival of a letter from beyond the grave. Goodman's search for answers leads him to three individuals seemingly haunted by the supernatural, whose stories make up the movie's anthology structure.
The terrified souls in question are played by the terrific line-up of Sherlock's Martin Freeman, The Death of Stalin's Paul Whitehouse and Black Mirror's Alex Lawther. The movie promises to be, in the words of its creators, "an unforgettable experience that makes them laugh, scream and haunts their dreams" and these suitably eerie teasers are perfect Halloween viewing. Watch if you dare...
Not only that, we've got four creepy character posters for you to feast your eyes on.
Ghost Stories materialises on the big screen on 13th April 2018. Got some favourite Halloween ghostly chillers of your own? Let us know @Cineworld.
