Things to do this summer! Why Finding Dory is SO much better than a visit to Sea World

screen-poster

Forget a day out at the local aquarium this summer! This is why you need to experience the majesty of Pixar's Finding Nemo sequel Finding Dory on the big screen at Cineworld.

1. These fish talk!

OK, so watching through a glass pane can be mesmerising – but is it as mesmerising as being reunited with your favourite underwater Pixar characters? This long-awaited follow-up to the 2003 masterpiece reunites us with forgetful Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) as she sets out across the ocean to find her long-lost family, the beautifully written characters and voice acting bringing the ocean to life like nothing else.

2. It's properly immersive!

Walking through an underwater tunnel marvelling at the wonder of nature is one thing, but when you watch Finding Dory in the immersive visuals and surround sound of RealD 3D, it'll be as if you're underwater for real – an experience you don't want to miss.

3. You get to see ALL your favourite animals – without leaving your seat!

We're sure you'll agree that it can be a tad annoying when you're peering through the glass at your local sea life centre trying to get a glimpse of your favourite creatures – and they stubbornly hide from view. Pixar however are delivering all the glorious sea creatures to you on the big screen from clownfish to turtles, octopi to sea lions. How can you resist?

4. It's a REAL adventure!

You don't simply watch Finding Dory; you become part of the title character's epic odyssey as she sets out into the unknown, is placed into the Monterey Marine Institute and meets tentacled Hank (Ed O'Neill) who helps her escape. Meanwhile old friends Marlin (Albert Brooks) and Nemo (Hayden Rolence) are in pursuit – that's a lot more than you get on your average family day out.

5. It's a family experience you won't forget

Few experiences bring people of all ages together than a big screen visit to the cinema and when you couple this with Pixar's reputation for emotional rollercoasters, you're guaranteed a mix of laughs and tears that makes for the perfect family day out.
