Downton Abbey is back in this new movie clip

screen-poster

It's been four years since Downton Abbey concluded its aristocratic saga. But now it's time to swap the small screen for the big as the long-awaited movie arrives in Cineworld, populated by the faces you know and love.

The film picks up one year after Downton's TV resolution – that means it's 1927, and the opulent Crawley family are preparing to welcome the arrival of the British Royal Family.

While Lord and Lady Grantham (Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern) put on their stoic faces, all is not well in the servant's quarters.

Check out this clip in which Thomas Barrow (Robert James Collier), newly elevated to the role of butler, is angered by the return of Carson (Jim Carter), who has been tasked with leading the royal preparations.
