Unlimited screening alert! Watch powerful drama Detroit in advance this August

screen-poster

Our next Unlimited screening is a very special one: gritty and powerful drama Detroit from Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty director Kathryn Bigelow.

This seriously prestigious production boasts not only an Oscar-winning filmmaker but an enormously talented cast including John Boyega, Will Poulter, Anthony Mackie, Jason Mitchell and Jacob Latimore.

The incendiary movie commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Detroit 12th Street riot, which exposed hotbeds of racial tension between the city's black community and its police force. Critics have hailed it as one of Bigelow's best – check out the trailer below.

Detroit screens in advance on Tuesday 8th August at 8PM in all sites except for Aberdeen QL, Swindon SR, Newport Spytty and Harlow Harvey Centre, which show the movie at 7PM.

Please note: the screening will not be taking place at Bromley, Cheltenham Screening Rooms, Glasgow Science Centre and Leicester Square.
