Muse - Live at Rome Olympic Stadium, July 2013 (12A)
7th November 2013
Matthew Bellamy, Dominic Howard, Chris Wolstenholme
The stadium rock superstars' most extravagant stage show yet, captured in stunning 4K Ultra HD. Back in July, a capacity crowd of 60,000 people packed in to Rome's vast Stadio Olimpico to witness British band Muse's mind-blowing new show. Frontman Matt Bellamy later described it as their best gig of the year. Fortunately, state-of-the-art 4K cameras were on hand to record everything in crystal clear HD, placing cinema audiences right in the middle of the extraordinary experience. Mixed in digital surround sound, the 20 song set comprises material from Muse's acclaimed latest album, 'The 2nd Law'. Also included are such classics as 'Uprising', 'Supermassive Black Hole', 'Time Is Running Out', 'Starlight' and 'Plug-In Baby'. The Devon trio's ambitious music is brought to life with extensive pyrotechnics, vast digital screens and a troupe of actors. Little wonder one critic described this as "the rock concert equivalent of a blockbuster movie".
