Will Ferrell's macho TV anchorman strides into the eighties in this star-studded comedy sequel. Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) bestrode the seventies newsreading world like a colossus with salon-quality hair. Together with man-on-the-street Brian Fontana (Paul Rudd), sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) and dim-witted weatherman Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), Ron was part of an unbeatable news team at San Diego's Channel 4. But the eighties are nearly upon them and the winds of change are blowing through broadcasting. Down-on-his-luck Ron and the boys are lured to New York, where new-fangled 24-hour news channel Global News Network is starting up. But staying classy proves to be a challenge when newly permed Ron encounters his slick new nemesis Jack Lime (James Marsden). Brick, meanwhile, meets his love match in the form of Chani (Kristen Wiig). Harrison Ford leads an amazing supporting cast of cameoing celebrities in this side-splitting sequel, which cements Ron's musky legend.
