Maria Bello, Viola Davis, Hugh Jackman, Paul Dano, Terrence Howard, Melissa Leo, Jake Gyllenhaal
Hugh Jackman stars in this intense thriller about a father who takes the law into his own hands when his daughter disappears. It begins as an ordinary Thanksgiving get-together. Keller Dover (Hugh Jackman) and his wife Grace (Maria Bello) are visiting their friends Franklin (Terrence Howard) and Nancy Birch (Viola Davis). Their six-year-old daughter Anna has come along to play with little Joy Birch. But when the two girls disappear, a frantic search begins. Detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal) quickly arrests Alex Jones (Paul Dano) - the driver of a dilapidated RV that was parked nearby. But when the suspect is released because of lack of evidence, Keller becomes desperate. Knowing that he must act immediately to save the girls' lives, he crosses the line by abducting Jones! Fresh from 'The Wolverine', Hugh Jackman leads a superb cast in this powerful, provocative thriller. It's director Denis Villeneuve's follow-up to the brilliant, Oscar-nominated 'Incendies'.
