Synopsis
A raunchy, laugh-out-loud comedy about love, friendship and phone sex! Twentysomethings Lauren Powell (Lauren Anne Miller) and Katie Steele (Ari Graynor) are like chalk and cheese. Lauren is a fussy, strait-laced over-achiever from a privileged background, who's just been dumped by her boyfriend. Katie is a loud, uninhibited wild child. Enemies since their college days, they're reunited by mutual friend Jessie (Justin Long) to share a luxurious Manhattan apartment. With nothing in common, they live in an atmosphere of mutual irritation. But when Lauren hears some bizarre noises coming from Katie's room, she uncovers her flatmate's secret: she's a phone-sex operator! Spotting a business opportunity, Lauren decides they should go into partnership together. Co-writer Katie Anne Naylon drew on her own experiences as a phone sex worker to add authenticity to the film's hilariously outrageous script. Watch out for Lauren Anne Miller's real-life husband Seth Rogan as one of the callers!
