Synopsis
The lovable zoo animals wreak hilarious havoc across Europe as they join a dilapidated circus! Alex the Lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the Zebra (Chris Rock), Gloria the Hippo (Jada Pinkett Smith), and Melman the Giraffe (David Schwimmer) are back! After their African romp, the New Yorkers are eager to find their way home. But instead, they wind up in Europe. King Julien (Sacha Baron Cohen), Maurice (Cedric The Entertainer) and all those wonderful penguins are along for the fun ride too. With sinister Captain Chantel Dubois (Frances McDormand) of Animal Control in hot pursuit, our heroes decide to hide out in a travelling circus. Here we meet a group of great new characters, including Gia the beautiful jaguar (Jessica Chastain), Vitaly the macho Russian tiger (Bryan Cranston) and Stefano the fun-loving Italian sea lion (Martin Short). Soon the run-down circus has become fully Madagascar-ised. The European high jinks even lead to an attempted heist in Monte Carlo!
