Pusher (18)
Synopsis
A massive debt turns a London drug dealer's party lifestyle sour in this slick and violent thriller. Meet Frank (Richard Coyle). An East End boy, he enjoys a glamorous lifestyle financed by drug dealing. But Frank's got a problem. He borrowed money from his supplier, Milo (Zlatko Buric), to finance what he thought was a sure thing. But it all went horribly wrong. As he races against the clock to repay the £55,000 he owes and save his skin, Frank's friends start to evaporate and he becomes locked into a downward spiral of violence and degradation. This is a sleek English-language remake of the edgy, low-budget 1996 cult film with which 'Bronson' and 'Drive' director Nicolas Winding Refn made his name. Model Agyness Deyn is cast as Frank's hooker girlfriend, while Zlatko Buric reprises his terrifying performance from the original film. Refn adds his seal of approval by serving as executive producer.
