Rapper Bashy stars in a searing urban drama about a troubled young man channelling his rage into a boxing career.
Clayton Murdoch (Ashley 'Bashy' Thomas) is scarred by an upbringing that included violence, domestic abuse, gang culture and murder. Today his psycho father Eugene (David Harewood) is in prison. Clayton is determined to keep his sanity and break the cycle by confining his aggression to the boxing ring, encouraged by trainer Gordon Sinclair (Peter Mullan). But when the urban violence that surrounds him threatens to destroy Clayton's own family, his inner darkness is unleashed. To quench his thirst for vengeance, he will need to seek help from the man who terrifies him the most - his father! Charismatic rapper Bashy steps up to take the lead role in writer/director Dan Turner's powerful, adrenaline-driven drama about a potential champion whose demons threaten to overwhelm him. Peter Mullan and 'Homeland' star David Harewood lead a superb supporting cast.
