Films coming to Cineworld in 2014

With more than 300 films due for release in 2014, there's no better time to be a Cineworld customer. So start filling in your movie diary now – it's going to be a spectacular year!

Action movie fan? You'll be spoilt for choice with the remakes of RoboCop and Godzilla, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Christopher Nolan's Interstellar and the spectacular line-up of Marvel movies: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

We also have the return of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 and the closing chapter of Bilbo Baggins' epic journey in The Hobbit: There and Back Again.

Is it prestigious and classy fare that you're after? Then don't miss World War II drama The Book Thief, adapted from Markus Zusak's bestselling novel, and Wes Anderson's latest quirky ensemble piece The Grand Budapest Hotel, whose star-studded cast includes Ralph Fiennes, Jude Law, Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, Saoirse Ronan and many more.

Looking for something that'll tickle your funny bone? Well, we have the return of the likely lads Will, Jay, Neil and Simon in The Inbetweeners Movie 2, Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie and Seth McFarlane's follow-up to Ted, A Million Ways to Die in the West.

When it comes to family entertainment, a certain marmalade loving bear makes his long-awaited big-screen debut in Paddington – voiced by Colin Firth no less! And in the wake of the incredible success of Despicable Me 2, Gru's loyal helpers finally get their very own movie, at this stage simply titled The Minions Movie.

Other highlights include lavish fairy tale Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie, the return of Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill in 22 Jump Street and a double helping of epic sci-fi with Edge of Tomorrow and Jupiter Ascending.
