Bad Blake (Jeff Bridges) is a drunken old country music singer scraping a living in backwater bowling alleys and third-rate piano bars. His fleeting fame behind him, the best Bad can hope for is to open a big concert for his former protege, Tommy Sweet (Colin Farrell), who - unlike his mentor - managed to become rich and famous. One gig blurs into the next until one night in Santa Fe, Bad falls for local journalist Jean Craddock (Maggie Gyllenhaal), a single mother with a few regrets of her own. In his attempt to find salvation with Jean, Bad is forced to face his demons and confront a life of regrets. As he pours his private sorrow into the best songs he's ever written, Bad learns the hard way just how tough life can be on one man's crazy heart.

Nominated for nine Academy Awards - including Best Picture and Best Director - and breaking box office records at Cineworlds all over the UK, the most spectacular 3D film ever is now officially the biggest movie of all time!   In 1997 director James Cameron gave us Titanic - the biggest movie ever. Now, with the all-conquering Avatar, he's done it again! Amazingly, it's been 15 years since Cameron dreamt up the idea for Avatar. Back then, the special effects needed to bring his vision to the big screen didn't exist. Today they do! Set on the distant planet of Pandora, the film stars Sam Worthington as Jake Sully a disabled soldier whose consciousness is implanted into an Avatar - an artificial body which enables him to survive on the deadly planet. The avatar is made using the DNA of Pandora's inhabitants, the Na'vi. With hostilities escalating between the Na'vi and the human intruders, Jake meets a native female named Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) - and begins a journey towards his incredible destiny.

Daniel Day-Lewis stars in a lavish, lovingly realised production exploring the personal and creative crises befalling a film director.

The stars come out in force for Chicago director Rob Marshall's lively, high-spirited musical extravaganza, based on the Tony Award-winning musical of the same name (which, in turn, was inspired by Federico Fellini's 1963 semi-autobiographical film classic 8½. World-famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) has reached an impasse as far as his career and love life are concerned. Having reached the age of 40, Contini is suffering something of a midlife crisis, which is having a crippling effect on his latest production. To make matters worse, he's also fallen headlong into a romantic merry-go-round and has his hands full juggling an increasing number of women, including his wife (Marion Cotillard), mistress (Penelope Cruz), muse (Nicole Kidman) and confidant (Judi Dench). Marshall ups the drama both on and off the set as the film races towards its spectacular climax.
