Three drag queens drive from Sydney to Alice Springs in a bus they name Priscilla.

When Tick Belrose aka drag queen Mitzi Del Bra (Hugo Weaving) accepts an offer to work at a casino in Alice Springs, he persuades his friends and fellow performers flamboyant Felicia (Guy Pearce) and recently bereaved transsexual Bernadette (Terence Stamp) to join him. They get hold of a tour bus, which Felicia nicknames 'Priscilla, Queen of the Desert', and hit the road. When Priscilla breaks down in the middle of the outback, they're forced to perform in all manner of unlikely venues and their trashy, flashy show provokes a variety of reactions, from the enthusiastic to the downright hostile. With vehicle repairman Bob (Bill Hunter) on board, the trio finally make it to their destination where they discover that the person who's hired them is actually Mitzi's wife... and things don't go quite as planned.

Splurge guns at the ready as Scott Baio and Jodie Foster star in director Alan Parker's unforgettable 1976 musical - a 1920s gangster comedy with an all-kid cast! New York, 1929, a war rages between two rival gangsters, Fat Sam (John Cassisi) and Dandy Dan (Martin Lev). Dan is in possession of a new and deadly weapon, the dreaded 'splurge gun'. As the custard pies fly, Bugsy Malone (Scott Baio), an all-round nice guy, falls for Blousey Brown (Florrie Dugger), a singer at Fat Sam's speakeasy. His designs on her are disrupted by the seductive songstress Tallulah (Jodie Foster) who wants Bugsy for herself. How is Bugsy to get the girl and help Fat Sam defend his business against the deadly Dan and his dastardly tricks? With an all-child cast placed in a mobster era, armed with custard instead of bullets and belting out some superb songs, this is simply entertainment at its best!

One of the funniest comedies of all time sees two musicians dressing up in drag to escape gangsters - before getting blown away by a stunning Marilyn Monroe. When Chicago musicians Joe (Tony Curtis) and Jerry (Jack Lemmon) accidentally witness a gangland shooting, they quickly board a train to Florida, disguised as Josephine and Daphne, the two newest and homeliest members of an all-girl jazz band. Their cover is perfect until lovelorn singer Sugar (Marilyn Monroe) falls for Josephine, ancient playboy Osgood (Joe E. Brown) falls for Daphne, and a mob boss (George Raft) refuses to fall for their hoax! Originally released in 1959, the film's trailer promised: "Not since Scarface so much action, not since the Marx Brothers so much comedy and not since The Seven Year Itch so much Marilyn!" The hype was certainly true, as Some Like It Hot remains one of the most thrillingly entertaining films ever made in any genre.
