A coming-of-age tale about teenage friends whose lives take a dramatic turn when one of them is forced to move away.

Childhood pals David (Thomas Turgoose) and Emily (Holly Grainger) have grown up on a caravan park on the Norfolk coast. Distracting each other from boredom, the pair rely on each other for support, companionship and a little mischief. But when Emily announces she has to move away with her father, a shocked David helps hide her in a secluded cave. As news of Emily's disappearance spreads in the local community and the police close in on locating his missing friend, David's fears and anxieties surface. When the real reason Emily wants to escape is revealed, their dark secret begins to complicate David's world in a way he never imagined. From Oscar-winning producer Christian Colson (Slumdog Millionaire), this debut feature from director Tom Harper and writer Jack Thorne is a showcase for bright British filmmaking talent.
