Michael Cera stars in this comedy about a teenage nerd who takes drastic action to win the girl of his dreams.
Nick Twisp (Michael Cera) is a bright and affable but somewhat nerdish teenager. While on a family vacation, Nick meets Sheeni Saunders (Portia Doubleday). His new friend is beautiful and free-spirited, and when she asks Nick to apply sun lotion to her exposed areas he falls hopelessly in love with her. Unfortunately, it's not mutual: "Nick, you're very nice," Sheeni explains. "But I just don't have those feelings for you." Undaunted, Nick decides to create a supplementary persona named Francois Dillinger - bold, contemptuous of authority and irresisitible to women. And it works! His rebellious alter ego Francois will stop at nothing to be with Sheeni, and she loves him for it. But as Francois takes over his life, Nick finds himself burning down Sheeni's college and getting into all kinds of trouble...
