The visionary director of Amelie returns with another magical comedy...
Bazil (Dany Boon) doesn't have much luck when it comes to weapons. When he was a child, his parents were killed by a bomb in the Moroccan desert. Years later, as an adult, his life is seriously endangered when a freak accident leaves a stray bullet lodged in his brain. Leaving hospital with the knowledge that he could die suddenly at any moment, Bazil is homeless and hopeless. Luckily for him, he falls in with a motley crew of modern-day ragpickers - Remington, Calculator, Fracasso, Cupboard The Rubber Mome, Pierre Petit and Tambouille. As eccentric as they are talented, these 'Micmacs' live their remarkable subterranean lives in a home that resembles Ali Baba's cave of delights. One day, while passing two imposing buildings, Bazil recognizes the initials of the two arms manufacturers that caused his misfortunes. Aided by his plucky gang of cranks, he decides to take revenge...
