It's a battle of the species as the Pearsons go toe-to-toe with the aliens in the attic.
When the Pearson family travels to their holiday home in Maine, they're all looking forward to a pleasant summer-long break. But the arrival of Bethany's (Ashley Tisdale) irritating boyfriend Ricky (Robert Hoffman) isn't the only unwelcome surprise. While taking a look around the house, Tom (Carter Jenkins) and Jake (Austin Robert Butler) discover a bunch of pint-sized aliens living in the loft. Despite their less-than-menacing appearance, it soon becomes clear that these two-foot tearaways have deeply despicable plans. They want to take over the planet and it's up to the plucky Pearsons to stop them. Using all the weapons at their disposal (garden rake, Slinky, umbrella), and with the help of their kick-ass nana, the kids gear up and get ready to go into battle to defend their family against the knee-high space invaders.
Screenplay: Mark Burton, Adam F Goldberg

You should see it because: With a Matrix-style martial arts face-off and more pratfalls than you can shake a Slinky at, you'll be rooting for the Pearsons all the way in this fun, fast-moving alien adventure.
