The mood grows darker for the wizards at Hogwarts in the sixth instalment of this blockbuster series.
As romance blossoms for Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) tries to keep her simmering jealousy in check, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) has rather more pressing things on his mind than teenaged crushes (although a certain young lady called Ginny is doing a very good job at distracting him). Voldemort is getting more powerful by the day, and life both inside and outside of Hogwarts' walls is growing increasingly perilous. Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) must prepare Harry for his inevitable final battle with Voldemort and calls upon the talents of his old friend Professor Horace Slughorn (Jim Broadbent), who may hold vital information to help them defeat their evil adversary. The fate of the world is now in Harry's hands as he tries to unlock the secrets of the past to protect Hogwarts' future.
