'Wimpy' becomes cool in a smart and original family comedy based on the hugely popular illustrated book by Jeff Kinney.

For Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) middle school is the dumbest idea ever invented. Not only is it an "intellectual wasteland", according to the precocious Angie (Chloe Moretz) but also, as Greg complains, "You've got kids like me who haven't hit their growth spurt yet mixed in with gorillas who have to shave twice a day." Greg's diabolical brother Rodrick (Devon Bostick) isn't much help either. His advice is "Don't talk to anyone, don't look at anyone, don't sit down...", but he still reckons Greg will be dead or homeschooled by the end of the year. Thankfully, Greg has his best friend Rowley (Robert Capron) who always looks on the bright side of things - and a colourful crew of fellow middle schoolers like Patty (Laine MacNeil), Chirag (Karan Brar) and Fregley (Grayson Russell) to hang out with...

An earnest fundamentalist, Sweetzer is certain his teenage daughter Nell (Ashley Bell) is possessed by a demon. Facing his conscience after years of parting desperate believers with their money, Cotton plans to have his film crew record a confessionary documentary of his last 'exorcism'. But when they see the already blood-drenched farm, it's clear that true evil is at work. With no turning back, Reverend Marcus' own beliefs are shaken to the core as he and his crew must find a way to save Nell - and themselves - before it is too late.

Rocky Springs is an idyllic community in the heart of the Oregon forest. But an ambitious developer nicknamed 'The King Of Green' (Ken Jeong) plans to rip out the trees and build a shopping mall - "with a forest theme'. Brought in to work on the project, Dan Sanders (Brendan Fraser) manages to convince himself that destroying the forest is a good idea, but he reckoned without one crucial factor - the woodland animals! Masterminded by a clever raccoon, the furry creatures aren't afraid to get their paws dirty and Dan soon finds himself up against bear, bird, squirrel and skunk as they fight back in increasingly ingenious ways. Whether they're firing giant rocks at him, sabotaging his running machine or stealing his car, the animals will stop at nothing to teach Dan the error of his ways.
