Ever since he was a child, Raoul (Adam Goldberg) has been in love with the beautiful Lucille (Vanessa Paradis), star of a stylish Montmartre cabaret. But one day, while delivering supplies to an eccentric scientist and his monkey assistant, Raoul manages to cause a laboratory accident that unleashes a monster. Photographed by his pal Emile (Jay Harrington), this turns out to be a giant flea! Although he's a fearsome looking beast, the monster has a beautiful singing voice (supplied by Sean Lennon). When Lucille hears this, she takes him in and disguises the now smitten flea, whom she names Francoeur. But nasty city official Prefet Maynott (Danny Huston) is determined to hunt down the monster. 'Shark Tale' director Bibo Bergeron returned to his native France to make this exquisite animated fable, which is already a huge box office hit across the Channel.

But beneath his outwardly confident and businesslike exterior lies a jaded sex addict with an insatiable appetite for women and pornography. When his self-harming younger sister Sissy (Carey Mulligan) arrives at his apartment unannounced, Brandon's carefully managed facade begins to spiral out of control. A stylish, uncompromising portrait of need and mutual dependency, 'Shame' is 'Hunger' director Steve McQueen's second collaboration with Michael Fassbender, who confirms his promise as one of the decade's most versatile actors. Harry Escott's powerful soundtrack music is intertwined with music from various NYC luminaries, including Blondie, Tom Tom Club, John Coltrane and Chic. Meryl Streep stars in this revealing portrait of legendary British prime minister Margaret Thatcher.
As a politician, she divided the nation, but in 1979 grocer's daughter Margaret Thatcher burst through barriers of class and gender to become the UK's first female prime minister. She was aided by loyal strategist Gordon Reece, who shaped Thatcher's image and guided her campaign - even advising her to lower her voice to sound more like a leader. 'The Iron Lady' is a surprising and remarkably personal account of Thatcher's rise to power, with an extraordinary central performance by Meryl Streep. Directed by Phyllida Lloyd (who previously directed Streep in the phenomenally popular musicl comedy 'Mamma Mia!'), the film revisits many of the key episodes in the former PM's career. Its outstanding cast includes Roger Allam as Reece, Jim Broadbent as Maggie's husband Denis, Anthony Head as Geoffrey Howe and Richard E. Grant as Michael Heseltine.
